Why was Adria Richards at a tech conference anyway? Is she a mobile app developer? Is she looking for angel investors for her new Internet start-up?
Nope. According to her website, she's an "Organic Technology Consultant, Trainer, Speaker and blogger."
Silicon Valley succeeded because *men*, and in all fairness as a child of immigrants mostly white Anglo men, like William Shockley, Robert Noyce, Jack Kilby, Gordon Moore etc. built it up from nothing.
Now that it's being neutered for the sake of sensitivity to women and equal opportunity, we can expect the technology golden goose to die like all of America's other industries.
