I think one thing many people need to take into consideration is that it is of the utmost importance to secure a top notch job in your field post-graduation. Otherwise, you are severely depleting your future earning potential. I know many law grads starting out at 40-60k while their peers are starting out in the 100's. Over a career the difference is drastic. No reason to handicap yourself. The reality is though to get the top jobs in your field be it accounting, medicine, law, dentistry, finance etc. grades are important. Get straight A's and do co-op if possible.
