That's an example of going too far with Aloof/Asshole game.
If I was to get "Hey Cutie" my response would be "What's up Hotbox?" a few minutes later, figuring she may be up for round three this evening.
Too many guys think the "rules" of game are ironclad or something and go way overboard trying to be something they are not. If you are really an "asshole" you don't need to play games like waiting three hours to text "Nighty night.. blah blah". That just looks try hard.
Broads know an asshole when they meet one and will know when you are playing a game.
