guys does it sound crazy to travel to thailand on your own,at age 20?

my friends are going to california for a few weeks (were from ireland),but i dont wana go to the states for the summer.

would it be too dangerous? im a responsible dude and have good game.would 6 weeks be good?

any suggestions
