I've only been exposed to the NYT through the International Herald Tribune. Between the fringe left bias and the parochial NY outlook, it was unreadable. All media is biased but the NYT is an extreme case. Newspapers are dead and there are far better resources online. If you want something in print, The Economist is tolerable. It has a left bias but is much more moderate than the NYT and generally objective when covering international affairs and business.
