One of my best friends is a small time rapper. He's been making rhymes for about 4-5 years now, he's pretty good at it, and has a couple of songs on youtube with about 1k hits each. He also has an artist fb page and dresses really eccentric...he's a magnet for sluts. He's in a LTR right now(with a girl that contacted HIM through his fb fan page), and has a couple of fuck-buddies.
He doesn't have any game, doesn't believe in it, and can get really attached and beta.

So yea, even micro-fame works.
