Hit the nightlife this Saturday near Santa Monica(first Busby's Wes then near 3rd street). Parked in one of those mall parking spots.
Busby's West- horrible, everybody staring at the football game. Nobody standing or socializing. Everybody in their own groups
Britannia Pub- empty and old dumpy looking women and older men.
Misfits- empty.
Copa d'Oro- decent ratio. young-ish looking crowd. Lots of indian girls. Chatted up a few girls, but nothing too interesting.
Ended the night at Ma'Kai Lounge- packed dance bar/lounge. Mix of black, white and indian crowds. Pretty stuffy. Friend and I hit it off w/2 black girls who were there for a b-day.
All in all, give my experience a C-. What bars/clubs/lounges do you guys recommend in Santa Monica?
