Agreed 100%. Another issue is that the old system gave betas was Assortive Mating - a 7 date a 7, a 5 dates a 5. Nowadays, snce the top players monopolize the top talent to such a degree, that whats' left over for regular guys isn't very good.
Now a male 7 has to date a 5, and guy that's a 5 has to date....you don't even want to know.
