Americans vs Europeans

Americans have huge touchy egos and so treat each other how they would like to be treated. They often move around in their huge country so have to make friends with strangers. Their culture is so highly individualistic that they need to make a bridge to "strangers". In America, people might ask you out to dinner, but they may not really not mean it, its a face, a front, a polite thing to say - they are often "phonies". Whereas, in England say, if someone asks you out to dinner, they really mean it.

Europeans typically see Americans as all outside and no inside.

The cooler Americans travel. But you are more likely to meet Australians or Scandinavians travelling than Americans, who barely make up two big states in the U.S.A. with their total populations combined.

Americans think their culture is so predominant and at the centre of the world, that everyone should be take note - but in a lot of cultures, American movies and culture is just that, American movies and culture - entertaining, but not to be taken too seriously. A bit like Bollywood.
