Good lawyers cost good money. So you guys would rather pay off a lawyer for a x amount of years than try to diffuse it first?
There are only three reasons to ever fight someone. 1. If someone is physically attacking you. 2. If someone is physically attacking your family. 3. If you and someone else a buddy or whatever agree to a fist fight in a neutral location where no one will jump in and cops won't be involved. Someone putting their hand on your shoulder is not the best reason because it won't hold up in court that well...being in court with "he put his hand on my shoulder" is not as good as "he was punching me and trying to get me to the ground."
Just my two cents. It sucks we live in a day and age where there are so many rules but we have to adapt to our situation.
