Neil I think you should come down on the price a little. how about $3.99 for the ebook?
I bet a lot more people would buy it. I want to read it, but not for $9.99.
Think about it.
Aloha!
I see your reasoning (cheaper means more sales) but the books has 468 jampacked pages and it takes quite a while to read. That justifies a higher price to me.
I wrote this book with travelers/backpackers in mind and can see how people take it with them on a trip and read it there.
That is a valid point.
$9.99 to a backpacker is like a weeks worth of food and hostels.
Maybe even a few giant bottles of water, some cargo shorts and Teva Sandals!
In all seriousness, at 500 pages, you could break it into 3 volumes.
Sell each one for $3.99.
1. You get more people reading your stuff.
2. You make more money if they read all three.
Win-Win.
