Theres lots of stuff to do here and most areas in town are pretty safe, the only sketchy areas would be east van (like main and east hastings) but even east hastings isnt really that sketchy/unsafe as there are cops all over the place, just don't take the side roads/go into parks after dark or back alleys, common sense basically.

The people here are friendly but not open to conversation. They aren't going to chew you out for approaching in the day, but they're not going to do anything to help your cause (I've had troubles talking to a girl in a coffee shop when I was obviously there with another girl)

Yea I was thinking the same thing. If your not a "stereotypical" brother then your bounty will be more sought out west. If you like outdoors shit too another plus. You'll slay more tail out west everybody vouches for eastern Canada but eastern cats never go out west.

One drawback about Vancouver is its dam expensive to live there your budget might push to far flung Surrey or some ish which is not ideal. For me Vancouver is IMO its way too tame I find. Its the most quiet of out all the cities and the nightlife is underwhelming for its size.

I just seen now you got a car! Seriously drive it up and consider Alberta. Its cheap and being "American" will give you mad DHV over there. You'll make some decent wages but I don't know how visa rules tie into it all. If your looking for a short-term stay then consider working in a restaurant.
Go work at The Keg or Earls and you'll be surrounded by hot women each shift (staff and guests) if you got an accent they will be creaming their knickers for you... I kid you not. Plus you get the benefits of getting strait cash in tips which won't mess around with your Visa/permits which I believe limits how much you can make while here in Canada.

Alberta is full of a lot of ruffian brothers either they strait up off the boat and sag their pants, or they way to obsessed in trying live out The Wire or some ish, or they just 100% Canadian wonder white bread and awkward as hell.

As far as safety the prairies have more crime but its Canada, crimes are petty and are "hoods" are completely different then in America. In America Cities are usually ghetto while everybody is out in the suburbs in Canada its all pretty much just cities unless your in the big 3 that have large suburbs.

And the hoods are kinda in their own bubble whiten the City and aside from the big 3 you drive and really have no reason to go into the hood. I came from one of the most "dangerous" cities in Canada and honestly I never seen it. You really couldn't fear walking anywhere, basic street smarts is all you need in Canada, the biggest issue is just keeping your social circle clean in Cities aside from the Big 3. Social circles do mix and you ain't want no "un-desirables" killing your steeez.

Talent wise Montreal wins by a landslide. Toronto I won't even talk about, save yourself and your soul and don't come here. Out West the talent drops off but the ease of getting laid there makes up for it. You will run into more fatties in Alberta and more plain janes but hot broads are easier to slay. They don't have mega bitch shields and are largely dumb and don't know anything about game. Just party with them and get drunk and one thing will lead to another. Vancouver has hot girls but selection is limited and it being a big city hot girls have minor shields but still minimal to what you may find out east.

The shitiest thing about Alberta or even Montreal is weather. In wintertime you will freeze your balls off but if your only here for summer and fall then no worries.

I vouched for Vancouver but now as I think about it. GO TO ALBERTA. Work at Earls and act like a big deal and you will be blessed with poon. trackdown some cool roomates at the University and have girls over each weekend to pre-drink for the bar.. party and slay them.. if there wack ditch'em and go to the bar and pick up broads there and bring back for after. I have homies whom do this practically as a job religiously each week.

In regards to money if you got 5K stashed away that with a decent job should be good for spots except Van or Toronto. You'll always be broke in TO or Van but don't take it personal, evreybody is broke or fronts with mad debt in these spots. You do want alot of play money to have because if you don't choose a big 3 then your going to need build a solid social circle of legit dudes to party with. Solo game ain't really work in those spots like Calgary or Edmonton I find (logistics, size of the City, etc). Having beers with the boys and going for wings and shit adds up just as much as going for dates but building up a solid unit is priceless and will give you ins when your partying with Jill and 4 of her other GF before the bar, or have your back or if run into Boris at the bar after he finds out you raw dogged his GF in the back of a Nissan in a Boston Pizza parking lot.

Unlike Toronto the rest of Canada got dudes whom go fist - to - fist, we drink a lot and get down and have no shame about it. Its not a issue if your a cool kat and since your American most dudes won't start shit. and compared to Americans Canadians are really mild, most stuff that would blow up into a gun fight in the states would be talked out in Canada with jager shots had after and maybe a fist bump.

And lastly. Make sure you can drink... a lot, and/or be very alert of your tolerance levels. Don't make the rookie mistake of overdrinking to keep up with Canadians as you'll endup: blacked out, or really sick, or doing some really dumb shit (barfing on yourself, passing out before sex, whiskey dick, emotional rollarcoster, pissing yourself, fighting a Native). In Canada especially out West it won't be uncommon for a girl to drink a 26oz ('Fifth' for Yanks) bottle of Vodka to herself and still have Vodka and Crans at the bar and still be able to make into work in the morning.
