I read this entire thread and it's literally bizzaro from what my Chicago experience was like. I've gotten laid by one woman (who was 60 at the time and pretty damn good) and every other time I've struck out with the city folk, especially since they're VERY territorial and look down on suburbanites no matter how close you are. I literally remember hundreds of 7s, 8s and 9s ads on Craigslist that were perfect for me until: "If you're in the suburbs please skip me."
Definitely a lot of truth to this. I used to live out there (both the city & the suburbs), and the city folk would often do this. I'm not even sure if NY folk are this bad (some of them might be lol). Part of it has to do with the hassle & congestion that it requires to go from the city to the suburbs or vice versa. But the more disturbing aspect of it is the pure snobbery of some city folk. Some of these so-called city folk often came from either the suburbs years ago or some other Midwestern metro area (and most likely a suburb!).
