Move. That's what the fuck I did. There's no excuse. Save up your money and fucking move. I grew up in a small city with a population around 150000. I knew I didn't want to spend my prime years there. Upon graduating from University I fucking moved.
Falling out of one frying pan and into another... Modern western big cities are not exactly a utopia, to put it mildly.
