I think I see the confusion. My ex-gf and I do not have any contact with each other. We stopped communicating nearly several years ago, and Mel and I have always stayed in touch since then (I even visited her in France, two years ago).

Thank you, good sir! I meant to keep you guys posted earlier but been real busy. Unfortunately, I think PT called it on this one.
After I messaged Mel last week I was expecting to receive an excited reply from her but NOTHING. She's gone completed cold on me LOL My best friend called me and asked me if I had sealed the deal yet and I was honest, "Nope. I waited too long to make my move."
If by some miracle, she decides to call/text me to go out then I certainly won't make the same mistake twice.
