Either is ok but I prefer Whatsapp first then after we chat a bit I'll ask for her IG but any chica I've asked for IG first gave it up. Some guys I know won't even pursue girls who don't have IG, it's a decent strategy except for me because I often date ghetto girls who are so poor that they can't afford a smart phone.
