I'm from Australia. It's not like some countries where everyone is hot or everyone is fugly. There's been a lot of immigration here so you're basically comparing a bit of a mixed bag.
Some Aussie girls are fat AF and paper bag material, but there are some incredible mixes too. I have a Japanese-Irish descent friend who is hot as hell, and an Indian-British descent friend that is the same.
It's just that you won't walk down the street and there's incredible women everywhere. Most won't take your attention, some will be passable and one or two are attention-worthy.
The biggest thing is weight, it pisses me off how often I see someone with attractive genes but they're carrying 15kg too many. That's basically Australia in a nutshell. The country is too wealthy, everyone eats too much McDonalds.
