Right, but they are female robots, and it should be no surprise that women will side with a female robot over a male man any day. The sisterhood extends to robots, holograms, characters in movies, TV shows, or women in song lyrics.

The more abstract, the better. If you can convince a man that a character in a comic book is more important than he is, you have earned your stripes as a modern woman.

A good example of this comes from a doc a while back called "No Sex Please We’re Japanese " and there is a scene, at about the 15:47 mark, where a couple of Japanese guys tell a female BBC reporter about a Nintendo game called Love Plus they play that gives them the illusion of having a relationship with a teen age girl on the screen.

And the nutty BBC harridan tries to insinuate that they are creepy pedos because they are older and *lying* to the girl in the game. (At 17:29)

This is the magic of female empathy. Even a few lines of code can be one of the girls if it means a flesh and blood woman has an opportunity to shame a flesh and blood man.
