Yep. The opposite is true as well - a typical Western "discussion" sounds to me like a complete waste of air. Westerners would say an utter meaningless crap just to fill up the silence in the air, and when I listen to that my brain tells me "you're dealing with a retard". This was one of the main reasons I stopped approaching here in US.
