They do take it for granted - I wonder what complaints would be like if a ranting girl like that would not get compliments on her style, dress, looks, appearance at all. I have to deal with it - I never get compliments from women.* NEVER (despite the fact I have top lean muscular physique, pretty decent face, dress sharp, groom sharp, etc. I think you need to be in < 1% to get complimented by women (in Scotland, that is).
* I mean women with whom I'm strangers.
