College aged girls are concentrated heavily around UCLA/Westwood of course, west LA, Venice, especially around Abbot Kinney, also Santa Monica, especially between 5th street and Ocean.
LA definitely is not a place where people have known each other forever. There are some people like that but generally it's more easy come, easy go.
