Just depends on what you're looking for. Different countries rate differently for different purposes:
1. Getting laid a lot (quantity)
2. Getting laid with beautiful women (quality)
3. Finding someone for LTR, maybe marriage (different kind of quality)
4. Making a living
5. Enjoying the lifestyle you want (pace of life, scenery, outdoor activities)
6. Etc.
Where "the West" falls down is No. 3 above IMO. Somehow that leads a lot of guys to head for SEA and look for 14 lays a week. Whatever works.
