Heading over to Dublin for St Patrick's day this weekend. Went to Dublin 8 years ago so can remember it quite well.
See that the weather is to be dry but cold. What is the deal with drinking in public in Dublin when walking about on St Patricks Day? Do the Garda stamp down on it or do they not mind at all as long as you aren't acting silly? I'm assuming there will be some pubs selling drink from tents outside due to how crowded the pubs will be? I'm expecting 10 euros a pint.
