Joking aside, yes there are differences in sport, and Mehdy Metella will probably never be like Michael Phelps. However I do not think it is as pronounced in education.
But maybe I am too biased, since I pretty much used to hangout only with smart kids (introverted ex incel and average in social skills speaking here). And yeah, a lot of black and Maghreb guys I studied with in Classes Prépa were good with the football, and running too. I always sucked (and still do) at that.
