Amsterdam and Copenhagen arent that really different when it comes to international flavoured liberal culture (girls). I guess it falls upon your preferences.
One advantage about Amsterdam is that you can quickly skip it for any other nearby town with a solid population and flavour whereas in Copenhagen its not so abundant (unless you count shithole capital of Scandinavia Mälmö over the border with Sweden)
