I just got out of class and I'm supposed to work 2pm to 10pm. I rarely call into work, however, it is an amazing day and I have a lot of personal stuff that I need to do like laundry, homework, read rooshs' new book, start lifting again, etc. So I need a good excuse that sounds legitimate.
My favorite excuse (which earned me 0 brownie points) was when my dad took me to a drag racing event. I called my job from inside the track and told them I was at a drag race and couldn't make. Atleast I was honest![[Image: smile.gif]](https://rooshvforum.network/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Anyways, for those who share my belief that sometimes you need to take a personal day, what do you tell your boss? I don't want to say I'm sick because ill show up tomorrow with a nice tan and a new haircut.
