Singaporean Chinese dislike mainlanders because they are rude and uneducated. They come to Singapore shouting everywhere, throwing trash, and have no manners anywhere.

I would look down on mainlanders as well if that’s the case. Taiwanese and Hong Kong people are much better received. While Chinese people in mainland often look down upon foreigners and are very patriotic.

Chinese are not as diverse and open minded as say, Brazilians or French for example.
