The real metaphor there is about how chicks always wanna rescue dogs like they wanna rescue men (actually, I just made it a simile).
If you're trying to pick up chicks, best to mix in a little imperfections so she wants to rescue you. I wouldn't piss on the floor or have separation anxiety with her, but maybe show a colder side of yourself, maybe show a flash of anger or hatred as if you were injured in the past.
