Is Jakarta becoming really that bad?
I'm thinking of going there again and curious if I should spend less time in Jakarta and more in other cities (Surabaya, Yogya etc).
I used to be able to contact a group of party people to go out with, but they either moved, or aren't partying much anymore. So I'd probably have to make new friends.
Has anyone been to both Manila and Jakarta recently? Which place is easier to make new friends? The only friend I have in Manila won't be there around the time I can travel. The friends I have in Jakarta won't go out partying (but are great for social proof if I get into sort of a mini relationship).
