You seem to be incapable of understanding that words and concepts change meaning over time, as they become integrated into other cultures. No, the left-wing is closely aligned with neo-liberalism and the right-wing is closely aligned with neo-conservatism. In practice both neo-liberals and neo-conservatives love the power of the state and are fascists. Republicans don't cut spending and democrats continue to wage war.
