Arabs bought a large part of the old Belgrade town and have plans to invest even more In properties there ( Arabs just buy properties and this is the only form of investment they know).
Oppressed might not be the right word but it's a fact that Bosnia in its current state is utterly dysfunctional. Nothing gets done, the country probably has the highest number of politicians/bureaucrats per capita out of anywhere in Europe, and people vote/behave tribally. As for the "unity of the Bosnian state", Bosnia isn't a state, it's an EU colony that has an EU high commissioner who can veto any law passed by the Bosnian parliament. Serbs would be much better off without the bureaucratic nightmare that is modern Bosnia and the Muslims would probably be better off without the constant infighting that a "multicultural" Bosnia brings. Republika Srpska deserves independence and it seems inevitable that it will happen at some point in the future.
As for the Dubai real estate companies investing in Belgrade, you're right. The whole thing seems pretty corrupt/suspect to me, alot of Serbs are really pissed off about the development.
They can "invest" as much as they want in Serbia, the Arabs. When time is right, the Serbs will show them just how much their property titles are worth.
Investing in a country where 98% of the people hate you, is plain dumb. Or at best, short-sighted.
