I'm fairly slender, fit but don't put on a lot of muscle mass. Since I've started doing squats and deadlifts for the past year or so I've gotten several compliments on my ass, both directly and second-hand. Last new lay I had a couple weeks ago wouldn't let go of my ass the entire time I was on top of her and commented afterwards on how much she liked it. With that said I think, for me at least, that generally being fit and showing I obviously care about my body and health is best.
