The first step is admitting you have a problem. You know such women are poison, you don't need us to tell you what you already know. When you start seeing those red flags, eject. Not to get all Freudian with you, but it sounds like your attraction to that type of woman stems from how your mother was. People have a tendency to live what they learn, so unless you want a repeat of what happened with your own parents (emotionally unstable female/ passive/enabling male), you've got to break the cycle.
