If you have a muscular build I think suiting up does more harm than good. A well fitted button up or polo shirt tucked into Some nice dress pants/chinos works better.
You need to know your environment and target audience as well. Let me tell you right now that a suit doesn't impress most 18-21 year olds, who don't know what life is like without a male provider yet. You're better pulling off street wear and showing some skin if you're targeting really young girls.
Suits do have a place in the right environment/situation but I've never been big on them in general.
