The fact is, there is no liturgical need whatsoever for women in any capacity than currently already undertaken --- and they are already valuable members of the body.
This (insert adjective) pope has absolutely no ability in discerning what's really going on, and that's why he is so damaging. Even granting these requests or tantalizing them with suggested advancement is doing a disservice to the tradition and culture.
Then again, as I've argued, it is the reason why the RC church has lost, and will continue to lose people --- it has been entrenched in politics for a long, long time now and its proclivity towards putting people in places like Jorge Bergoglio always leads to greater and greater dangers, which is what this thread is about.
