Though in reality this doesn't represent the views of the average Joe (or Jane), as the feedback to the Ghostbusters trailers proves - it's simply being astroturfed by the elites who run the media industry.
I honestly think they're a dying breed however, and that the entertainment industry will shift in a more conservative direction in the coming decades, particularily because the internet offers plenty of alternative, independent sources of media to the liberal "dinosaur" media.
