What's fascinating is that the fathers of Michelle and Oprah are archetypes of both ends of the spectrum. Oprah's dad was horrible, but Michelle's dad was a hero:

He dragged himself to work every day on crutches because he had MS.

Why not talk about that instead of complaining about evil, powerful white fathers?
