Interesting, because you can actually nail that down to a certain number of individuals.

Haim turned 11 in 1982. Haim's first feature film, Firstborn, was released in 1984, making it likely to have been shot in 1983. The producers of that film were Paul Junger Witt and Tony Thomas. Both are still alive.

Also possible candidates are any of the TV show producers for the series The Edison Twins, which was Haim's break into TV before he got into film, but IMDB lists Haim as only appearing in episodes from 1984 onward.
