Take Switzerland. Very small country - but huge variety. They have all climate zones from arctic to mediterranean.
Back to topic: Whether you (as a foreigner) get received well in a certain country or not, often depends on physical features that are beyond your control, yet these cannot always be reduced to the "race" factor.
Take my home country Germany as an example. Height matters far more than race here. If you are 5ft8 or something, Germans will treat you like a piece of shit (sad but true). But this is not directly linked to race, at least not in all cases.
Good friend of mine is a 6ft1 (East) Asian, and he's popular both among men and women. He used to have a (white) girlfriend with model looks. Same guy with same racial background would be treated very disrespectfully by everyone if he was 5ft8.
Yes,there are problems with that.For example what about Czechs and Poles or Serbs who often happen to be taller than Germans?The Germans hate them for this because they do not fit the stereotype.They just do not like to hear polish in Germany.When I spoke polish to polish girls everyone looked at me with disgust and hate.They stopped every conversation and starred at me.Even in my country Germans dislike slavic presence no matter if it is Russian,Serbian or Polish.All these are supposed to be cons pigs by them.Only Russians have some value because they posess resources and defeated them on the war.So they save some respect for the Russians but regard them as alien culture.
In general Germans react very badly when groups like Turks try to establish dominance.They completely segregate them and lower their living standards.They push them to get out.
This friction between Germans and other ethnicities is quite obvious when you hit Germany and you discover what is acceptable and what not by German women.They have no problem to date and fuck the upper middle class of mediteranean societies but that is so much how it gets.
