Well let's not forget after the Charlie Hebdo shootings last year, that a week after, once the rage subsided slightly, the prevailing leftist attitude was "maybe the magazine shouldn't have been so mean to the muslims."

This is known as "the soft bigotry of lowered expectations." In other words, although they'll never admit it, the leftists view the Muslims, Africans, etc, as being inferior. And that their inappropriate reactions to provocation should be accepted because after all, they can't be expected to understand reason.

I tend to avoid social media. What's the current attitude thus far? Is it bullshit Belgian flags? Or are people expressing more hostility?
