why guys want to be players..
mostly because of the feeling they get out of it.
guys who do cold approach a lot for say like 6 months, they get quite proficient at it. then guys who do it for a 1-2 years hook up on the regular. and usually they find a GF by that point. and then fucking weirdos who stick to pu get laid all the time.
but after all it is fucking weird i'm fully aware of it. most guys probably think they want to be one of these weirdos but i really doubt that. they just think how much sex they want to have and they say "i want bang 100 girls/year" and most of the time it's bullshit cause all they mean is to have sex 100 times/year. not exactly 100 different girls. banging over 100 girls/year must require tons of emotional strenght and energy to deal with it. but big players just enjoy it just because of the way it makes them feel.
simply put.. banging 10 different girls a month alone makes us feel like godlike being. it's feeling of incredible fullfillment and huge injection of "i'm awesome" drug EVEN IF we ar one lame stupid douchebag with absolutely nothing going on for us. even then we still feels like the fucking shit. in that state we're not questioning ourselves, we're not stuck in our head, we're walking around smiling, relaxed and our life looks amazing for us no matter what. that's why it can be really disastrous long term for guys who get attached too much to just getting pussy and forget about other things in life.
but really banging tons of girls year by year is actually good and bad. it's actually terrible what it does, it has very negative effect on psyche if a guy don't know how to deal with it but at the same time it has really good effect emotionally. everybody probably knows some mindfucked players with trust issues, with unhealthy point of view etc

futhermore, act of cheating is triggered by primal instinct as primitive as signals to eat or sleep. thing to remember is to be aware that cheating is not most rational and considerate choice that we logically choose someone else over our partner, it's just our lack of self control over our emotions and desires at that moment. which doesn't makes an excuse for cheating if that what you are looking for.
IMO it's safe to say that cheating doesn't really make anyone more happy or proud and looking at the big picture it's not even something that anybody wants to actually do. people just don't see the instant negative effects of it that they WILL probably be surprised with facing them later on (suckers).
in the end our brain has enough power to override those impulses which is the main reason why you don't see people having sex everywhere with everyone everyday. it all comes down pretty much to the choises we make. every action we take will have its consequences that we will have to deal with eventually. people like to say that life is about the journey but when that journey takes you to the shitty place you might want to think about change the overall direction.
and last thing from me, if you're in happy relationship with high status person that you don't take for granted cheating is the last thing on your mind as losing something precious for 30 minutes of intimacy with stranger sound really fucking stupid. thank you
