Isn't work the reason why we live where we live?
There is a huge rugby following here so whenever a home game is on it does attract fans to the area. Other sports is cricket and motorsport (Silverstone is not very far away).
Unless travelling to work I never go beyond the town centre.
Some people live places out of personal choice or due to family. Work isn't always the main reason, hence why some choose to commute for hours if they have to rather than live where they work.
I appreciate you are sticking up for where you live.
