I went to Trinidad on my own about 4 years ago and I didn't find the lizards were crawling over me per se. Not to say I'm some top tier playa but they weren't particularly wow'ed by my Western credentials. I tried to holla at my waitress and some other girl in some club on Aripitas Ave but by and large, it wasn't so easy.
