You can sometimes read between the lines of the mainstream media to see this. Here's a recent article title on CNN Money that supports the quote above:
"For Millennials, it's good to be young, rich, and female" - http://money.cnn.com/2015/05/28/pf/rich-...ial-women/
Of course, the article spins this as a positive, but the obvious question that the article skips over is how these young females got rich in the first place... *cough* looks/family wealth/family connections *cough*
Note that I'm not supporting any sort of socialism though. Just saying the US isn't a meritocratic heaven. There are also obviously less meritocratic countries out there.
Also interesting to note that this mainstream article doesn't advocate for any of the usual socialism in this instance either - and we all know why. If it were about young rich males, it would have a VERY different angle - think of the recent "frat boy" articles.
H/T to Zelcorpion & his twitter feed - young females using looks to get rich: http://www.economist.com/news/united-sta...poon-sugar

According to SeekingArrangement, a firm based in Las Vegas, two-thirds of sugar-baby graduates have no student debt.

Young men keen for cash from a “sugar mama” have few prospects.
