The word soccer is thrown around like an American Hand-egg again.
Sorry, I can't resist.

Since this forum is American based, soccer should be called soccer at all times so those of us that enjoy a manly sport like football are not confused when the Euros start talking about that feminine game they play.

People needing tons of protection to play a sport are fags, like handegg.

You guys talking shit about football, take the most fit soccer player and put him up against most football players, and the football player would crush him. You can say what you want about football, but to say they are "pussies" or "fags" makes you look dumb. I'd like to see you take a hit from one of those linemen, you'd be knocked the fuck out. The dudes playing football and basketball in the US have more raw athletic talent than most soccer players.

I like rugby because it's a manlier version of soccer. No pads, full contact brutality.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a better overall athlete than pretty much any sportsman right now. One of the most supreme athletes in history in any sport. Of course, this is sort of unfair, as medical advancements etc mean athletes get better with every passing year - It's one of the reasons I get pissed with people who say the Klitshckos would be crap in any other era. Bojangles will hopefully help me out with this point about Ronaldo. Sure, he wouldn't win a fight against some NFL guy, but on overall athleticism and his other genetic attributes, like coordination etc, he's incredible.

Football (soccer) players are not built like NFL stars for good reason.
If you want a fair comparison match your guys to the rugby players.

Rugby players are built for both explosiveness AND power etc...but with endurance. NFL guys are bigger and more explosive but lack the endurance due to the stop-start nature of that game.

I think Ronaldo is the greatest player of all time. He has already done it in the Premier League - which is something I am not sure Messi would be able to do. And unlike Messi - he has done it in teams that didn't contain the bulk of possibly the most succesful international side of all time.
I actually predicted he would be the greatest player of all time when he first joined Man Untd as a skinny teenager. The first time I saw him I realised I had never seen a player who could humiliate defenders in such devastating style.
But - the one thing I didn't predict was the impressive physique and fitness levels he would develop. That is testament to his desire to be the best.
Here he is against the England goalkeeper at the time:

Messi would enjoy playing against Stoke.
And possibly most of the Championship teams. Bottom feeder players who chump their way through games. Its like watching a sunday league game.

I think people that blame banks for the financial crisis are tards. (Occupy Movement, etc.)
I think people that blame the government for problems need to look in the mirror.
I think sports fandom is silly.
I think Abraham Lincoln was a terrible president.
I think people should stop watching tv.
I think some people are just born stupid.
I think the US should return to the gold standard.
I think Iowa deserves more respect.
