Girls Who Are To Into Sports

Whats everyone's thoughts on this?

I see this a lot (especially since I moved to Maryland) these girls who are just RABID sports fans. I really feel its all an act to "be on of the guys"

I personally have never gotten into sports, dont follow any teams, and could give a fuck less what game is on. I know enough to watch all of the major sports and follow them, but I dont get into it.

More and more I'm finding these sports chicks are irking me. Its just another unfeminine notch on the belt of bad behaviour. How do you quell this? Do you just deal with it and ignore it?

Personally I would love to have a chick who was into the same sports and ideally the same teams as me. Not just one who pretended to be into it for the sake of being cool but one who actually understands the rules and knows the players and the game.

If you're not into watching sports like me, it's a big turn off. I'm all for being active, but if a girl cares more about cheering some guys on the teevee while wearing a baggy uniform instead of pleasing me in some way, I'll pass.

Yeah I agree chad, the rabid ones who know more about sports than I do and go to all the games drinking and yelling piss me off no end. They're there because they want to ride the cock carousel with the better players in whatever team they support.

Girls who actually play sport themselves are an entirely different matter...nothing hotter than a sweaty, sporty girl in lycra with a wet spot along her bum crack lol.

There are two types of sports fans: the cheerleaders and the connpisseurs. The cheerleaders root for their team, and the connoisseurs watch for the athletic excellence. The cheerleaders watch mostly major league team games, while more solitary sports attract connoisseurs almost exclusively - like boxing, weightlifting, tennis and the Olympics as a whole. Of course, one can still be a hockey connoisseur or a Mayweather cheerleader.

The cheerleading personality has always annoyed me a little. These people get so tribal over something so superficial, it's foreign to me. And the girls like this are almost guaranteed not to be classy or feminine.

If a girl actually appreciates a sport, it'd be a slight positive I suppose. But even in their own hobbies, women often have weak and dubious opinions.

I love sports.

Can't stand girls who like them too. Sports is my haven, my island, my territory. If a girl tries to become interested in the game I am watching, it's a bad thing. I look forward to sports and it is something I enjoy APART from pussy. I'm not going to let the two mix. I wont let her take over and claim my interest for her own. It's mine. I don't watch the games with them either.

This is never an issue though. Most girls I like don't give a damn about sports anyway, unless they are athletes or lesbians.

Fake bullshit. Most women dont give a fuck about sports because they cant relate to it. They just like to shout their mouths off and be seen as a supporter of something more than anything else. If a woman tells me she is into sports, I immediately put her into the attention whore column, or borderline dyke who is over compensating.

The whole genuine sports loving woman is something the TV tries to sell everyone. Like the chick who can fix cars or the chick who knows how to throw knock out punches yet still looks like a playboy model. Half the time they tell you they love sports or a team because they are trying to impress you.

I'm not into watching sports but I won't harbor any ill feelings towards a girl who does and I definitely wouldn't hold it against her.

People like what they like. If I'm not into it, who am I to criticize.

This is exactly my problem because in this area (might be more widespread) a girl who's into sports, thats all she's into.

She'll go to a bar and be glued to the TV watching football drinking a shitty lite beer, eating greasy starchy food, she might as well have chest hair and a beard.

I dont know why this seems excessively bad here in MD. In Ohio the only thing girls really got into that was sports related was college football, and that was because I lived in Columbus a stones throw from the OSU campus, so there I understood it and it didn't run their lives.

Looks like when you say "into sports", you actually mean "into watching sports", correct?

Watching sports isn't different from watching porn or playing video games. Those are lazy entertainments in their purest forms, just to kill time. Someone bragging about knowing sport teams isn't at all different from someone bragging about getting some level in World of Warcraft.

Now, playing sports, that's a very different story.

I lost plenty of pussy in Athens because of this. Telling them I don't watch sports was a deal breaker sometimes. If they were being a bitch I'd tell them if I did pull for a team it would be Georgia Tech. [Image: banana.gif] DUDE. They would get pissed!!!

Just messaged a chick online that takes Krav Magna. She said she couldn't date a guy she could beat up. WOW!!! My dick got hard. I messaged back, "Meh, I'd fight you but I bruise like a peach.lol."

I honestly couldn't get in the dojo with a girl. I would punch that bitch so hard she would have a permanent speech impediment. And kick her in the cunt to boot......twice. If she invites for a match, I'll have raliv or amistod there to video.

I know enough about sports to fake my way in a conversation to build some rapport, but I don't follow them at all.

Watching sports to me is pointless.

Professional sports are boring as shit. Can't get into playing them or watching them, even though I'm an athletic guy that could probably excel at a few sports. I train MMA and can't even watch that.

Unfortunately Neo is right - you almost have to maintain a running knowledge of sports because girls expect you to. I don't know if it's the area I'm in, but I'd say something like 80% of girls claim to be football fans. Girls who watch sports are a total boner killer. There's nothing less attractive than seeing a girl scream at a TV.

Girls who play sports are a different story. I'm banging a soccer player right now and she has great legs from all the running. Most of her soccer friends are pretty cute. Softball players all seem to be overweight and mannish though. It's a huge dyke hobby. If I hear a girl is into softball, it's a red flag (even if she is attractive) since she probably has a bunch of angry feminist lesbo friends.

Men need to stop conferring status on professional athletes. Have you ever met a college football player? Most of them are the biggest group of borderline-retarded assholes I've ever encountered, yet the student body treats them like gods. Professional athletes do not give a fuck about you or your adoration. Stop caring about them.

I don't judge guys for liking sports, but I feel that it's soap opera for men (never ends, drama, something to root for, etc.).

If you have to worship a man, make it a dead one. Deifying a live man is emasculating, and unhealthy for a man's self.

I'm tempted to agree with you guys that it's a undesirable quality, but girls who are into sports are often a lot more down-to-earth and DTF than other girls. It's sort of like the "girl who grew up with a bunch of brothers" phenomenon. Of course there's nuance here. There are girls who manage to like sports, but "know their place" within that world. They know they're stepping into a man's world and keep things feminine and reasonably demure. This is more common, I'm finding, in cities where pretty much everyone supports the local teams (e.g., Boston). The girls don't really know the sports that well, don't watch most of it anyway, but enjoy participating because everyone does it and they're herd animals.

Then there are the short-haired bitches who scream and cuss like dudes and know every statistic like Bob Costas. That, needless to say, is some disgusting bullshit.

Here's my experience:

Girls that like sports:

Sitting around screaming at the t.v. with the rest of the dudes. They will not be receptive to game. If their team loses, it's just that worse. It also says something to their level of intelligence. The dumber they are, the bigger the fan. Pussy just isn't worth me trying to look interested in front of the boob tube for 4 hours.

Girls that don't like sports:

They are out in the garage to get away from the weesh inside yelling and screaming about a bad call. B/C you know, the fans can see the play better than the ref's on the field. You'll find them congregating next to the beer fridge in front of the Harleys. Probably, you'll be the only guy with them. That's the real play of the day. Go earn your "Hiney Heisman" trophy.

In Athens, hit the town up during an away game. It has a higher concentration of non-sports chicas. The rest packed up like migrant workers to follow the team. There are plenty of them that appreciate a man that can talk about something besides football, or wears something other than school colors....like EVERY OTHER DOUCHEBAG IN THAT TOWN.

I shit you not when a chick says, "so who you pulling for this weekend?." I respond with, "no one, I fucking hate sports." You can see the light in their eyes. They just found their goldmine.

You'd be correct. Watching sports I cant stand. Its boring. I'd rather go kick a ball. I'd even argue that you can jerk off to porno, and video games offer some form of gratification in the completion of something so they're slightly better then aimlessly watching a game.

I'm glad I"m not the only one who feels this way, MD seems to be a big sports state. I see yahoos wearing jerseys every single day. I've noticed younger girls do seem to respond positively when I tell them "I'm not a sports guy" Just like most bad female behaviour the sports phenomenon seems to be a mid 20s problem.

I do have one issues with girls who play sports, most tend to be fat. I dont know how it works, but I've seen so many girls with huge thighs and oversized wastes walking around in soccer, volleyball, or softball uniforms.

For anyone keeping score, these "I love sports" girls are a relatively new development.

10 years ago they were non-existent.

HH I think nails it:

I noticed this whole "I love sports thing" for girls started happening around the time of the rise of those weesh magazines like Maxim and Stuff etc.

There was always a girl in there in a bikini and when they asked her her likes, she inevitably said, "I just like sitting on the couch on a Sunday, drinking a beer and watching the games!"

This is when that whole thing was born.

I feel like its snowballed in the last few years, I dont remember encountering that many "sports girls" when I was in school a few years back, but that might also have been an age thing, like I said this seems to be almost strictly a mid 20s thing.

It's bad here! Girls have to rep their home state and take it to extreme levels. Chicago fans are the most annoying.

I was invited to watch the Patriots game today and rather slit my wrists then listen to these stupid know it all bitches yell at the TV.

Look at dating profiles: The sports bar dressed in quarterbacks shirt pic....The baseball game with the hat and beer picture.....The skydiving pic (thumbs up).....The cruise ship pic......And the new one...THE SHOOTING RANGE PIC!!!!!!!yup guys! they got guns now too!!

Chad: it's an age thing you notice with girls in their mid 20s, so after college. I think it's just one of their tools to meet men.

I guarantee it. Its a prime example of women over thinking how to meet men. Most dont realize "hi" is very effective. They'd rather adopt a fake persona and like about what they like then simply be friendly.
