Hey so I recently discovered Roosh last month and I'm really glad that I did cause he seems to be one of the few PUA's out there who seems to care more about you getting laid rather than putting out DVD's or bootcamps that really don't teach you much. Before Roosh, I studied from Arash Dibazar (still do), Mehow, Mystery (ofcourse) and a few others. I just want to know which pua's you guys studied from and who did you find to be the most informative and which one did you find to be the worse?
What other Pua's have you studied from?

Read Bang and Day Bang - Roosh.
Watch Good looking loser's pickup videos....you'll pickup some good ideas.
Watch Alex Coulson ( an Australian) with a relaxed casual style. Used to have some good pickup vids on youtube.
Read a lot of the approach thread and some of the pros on there ( high rating guys )
Another youtube freebie - Paul Janka's pickup videos and his entire seminar entitled "Beyond the Digits" - some gold nuggets in this one.
Good places to start.

I think this depends on what you want to focus on. Whether you want to focus on night or day, direct or indirect, etc. I prefer direct day game, and have benefited a lot from Krauser's stuff on Youtube.
I suppose one should avoid anything that looks too gimmicky, like simple pick up.
^good info. Thanks robreke.

I read, try things out, incorporate if they work, discard if they don't.
I'm of the school that even though not everyone can teach, I can learn from everyone.

I like style aka Neil Strauss. Hes a beta that turned on his natural alpha and wrote a few books to help guys break out of the indoctrination that's been holding them down.
Roosh is the second and last person I've learned about game from. This forum has taught me so much and experience continues to teach me.

David D and Mystery back in the day second hand from a friend who was really into Game, although I wasn't at that time.
RSD FreeTour has some good videos on youtube.
Read Pook's Book, meh, not much I hadn't heard before, although his writing style is pretty funny. Also read Mark Manson's Models. Good all-around pep talk, get-your-ship-together book, but not enough specificity for my taste.
Honestly, I've gotten some good pointers from some of the posters on websites like HappierAbroad, Dalrock, and right here on RVF.

Sometimes I wonder what the dating community would look like without Mystery. Then I realise how pivotal he was.

Arash: closeted clow.
Mehow: Out of the closet clown.
Mystery: Old school clown. But I really respect the dude, lonely and depressed and blue pill as he is.

Anyone study Kezia Noble?

"Never heard of Arash."
He's a student of Mystery and Matador. The one thing that stands out about him is that he has multiple girlfriends who all look like Victoria Secret models and they're difinitely not fake. Other than that, he's a successful business man with 3 successful businesses and he has some very powerful lectures on youtube.

I never here them mentioned on here but lovesytems (the attractionforums) have some good material. When I started off I read a lot of the classic posts section and learned a lot from guys like Braddock and MrM.
Also flawless Tim which is technically RSD is good. Just how to be a fun chill guy mixed in with good inner game/mindsets.

hahahaha, why would you go to a broad to learn how to be a man?
I don't know if a commercial female PUA can teach the average dude how to bag chicks, but nothing is impossible.
Having been doing this thing for more than a minute, you can learn an awful lot about getting people to do what you want by observing women.

You should read the Yelp reviews on his businesses. He doesn't sound very 'successful' at picking up women. In fact he sounds like an IRT.

I'd love to see a break down of what these guys teach, ideally side by side.
I'm not so interested in their real world success, as much of that is unverifiable. Testimonials are fake. Videos get faked. Field reports get faked. Guys that have been out "in the field" with them, are usually guys selling their own shit.
I pretty much gauge a dude by how he describes shit anyway.
If something initially sounds unplausible, I keep reading, keep listening - because there's always something not perfect.
When chicks are *always* magically falling into bed, dude is suspect.
When they don't pay attention to whether a girl has any agency, or whether she does shit that's not in the script - I dismiss the shit as keyboard jockeying. On average girls are predictable. In the aggregate and statistical sense you know what they're going to do.
But when you got a real life chick in front of you? That's gonna be the day you run into a chick with a tramp stamp that's actually a born again Christian.
Guys that brag about 10s, dimes, models - immediately suspect.
Anyone that says you can bag "that one special girl" - suspect. No game is that reliable.
Now a dude can go out every night and take a chick home, but that's different than pointing some random hottie out and bagging her.

I, like many other of these gentlemen, came from the Mystery method initially. However, I think canned routines are robotic, and unless you're willing to put in gruelling time to become a good actor, they're silly to me.
So I bridged from that to reading David Deangelo's Double Your Dating which at the time seemed to really resonate with me.
The last book I really put into practice was Chris Rex's materials which names now escape me. While his over-energetic approach to getting laid was a bit much, his philosophies about conquering your fears did more for me than any game materials.

Has anyone read "The Natural" by Richard LaRuina? It's highly rated on amazon, and it's just about the only game book I haven't read that isn't highly rated or regarded.

Can you explain please...? Not that I doubt you, but anyone can say that about anyone, what are your reasons for thinking this? I'd like to know because I was considering ordering his book, and would rather not waste my money.
