If you take a drive one day around heavy residential areas you'll notice like 4-5 cars outside a house, a couple in the driveway, a few in the grass, most of them will be late model entry-level luxury whips (328i's, IS 350's, CLA 250's, and S3's, the shit people with real cheese wouldn't fuck with) that's a bunch of grown people still living at home and using their paychecks on material things since they don't have to worry about paying rent, FPL, Comcast, etc. like those of us who don't have nor want that luxury.

Most people don't really have shit, they aren't really shit, and they're never really going to be shit, the quicker you accept that and conduct yourself accordingly, the less number of headaches you'll have.

The main words I took from Vitriol's post were "it's obvious that you're a tourist." I have more family in the Miami area than in almost anywhere else in the world and I'm not an obvious tourist. People usually don't believe me when I say that I'm not from Miami and that I've never lived there. The way I originally got to know the areas and venues in various parts of Miami-Dade was that the first time I ever set foot in Miami, I spent all of Labor Day weekend going from party to party, bar to bar, and club to club with a group of friends who were all transplanted North Jersey and New York City Hispanics.

Fair enough. I understand that getting laid in a major American city isn't the easiest and I'm sure most of us would do better in Indonesia than the U.S.

My point wasn't about these kinds of observations, but rather people who watched Scarface or Cocaine Cowboys, and also know little to nothing about being in Miami for more than a few days. It's apparent if you look back through this thread and some of the others about Miami on here. I cringe before clicking on them because I ask myself if these guys are talking about the same place I've been living in for the past several years because it just doesn't seem right to me.

I know dudes who would legitimately be considered losers by most guys on the forum who either have girlfriends or manage to get laid occasionally. It's not impossible, rather the girls just have to recognize you as someone they see around rather than a short term visitor. Somebody didn't pay their monthly ransom to the cops. Places like Tootsies, never gets busted. If there is a raid there, they already know about it.

I never been to Wonderland. I was turned off by the $30 entrance fee. I just didn't believe the girls would be that fine to pay that entrance fee. From reports I heard they did have some nice looking women there, but it wasn't worth the over expense. Same thing I hear about 11 in downtown.

The $30.00 entrance fee is only for out of town people and it's not a commission thing like they sometimes have in Las Vegas.

From people I know that have been there and a stripper I had a convo with both said it's more like a club than a strip club. I've been so over the club scene, so I wouldn't go there. I just liked Tootsies because of the half price drinks from 12 to 8 and the sports bar. The talent took a dive for awhile, but looks like it's coming back.

A few people have told me they think it's the hottest club in town now. It's sort of a club and sort of a strip club. When I went with a group, a girl gave one of the girls I was with a dance for $30, another time I went with a dude and he got one for $50, so as usual it's YMMV.

Most clubs are $20-$25 lapdances, with the exception of the Black clubs that do $5 lapdances.

I'm planning on doing a Miami strip club data sheet, I've been to noteworthy spots in other big cities, and it's my opinion that our city has the best strip club scene in the country.

This is so correct. It's scary and also sad how guys in Miami have telepathy like this. This is also the other reason why I left Miami. Tootsies was the only place I was going to. I mean I stopped going to dance clubs years ago, especially after going to Tootsies.

The sad thing is men are doing the strip club thing because of what you just wrote. Why waste your time with 5's and 6's when you can see 8's and 10's naked and don't even have to pay if you don't want to? The interaction with strippers vs women out in the street is no the rise big time. I moved not only because I think Miami turned to shit, but to actually talk with women you have jobs and are not as materialistic.

Unfortunately, the club scene for gaming is virtually dead.

At this point, you're better off going out with people you already know with the plan of just having a good time with them, people just don't really go to clubs to meet new people anymore, that is to say, women don't go out with the idea of getting picked up by some guy who they'll end up fucking.

Obviously it still happens, but now it's the exception, not the rule. In the past, if you couldn't go out and get at least a few numbers, and turn them into bangs, then you were the problem.

When people hit me up about going out, it's usually to some noteworthy spot, e.g. LIV, Story, etc. when some noteworthy D.J. is spinning, so at least you know you're going to a good party with dope music, but a good party doesn't mean anything about the climate for gaming.

There are a few reasons as to why regularly going out to traditional clubs here is just not intelligent in any manner, I'll share the main two:

1. The ROI is too damn low. Clubs are focusing on sucking as much money out of you as possible, knowing that you're not going to get laid. You're paying high cover charges, parking, and the drinks are ridiculous -- expensive and intentionally watered down to make you need to buy several drinks just to get buzzed. With most places constantly going after expensive, nameworthy DJ's, that means $30-$50 cover, $10 parking, and $12-$18 per drink, so a night out at one of these places is going to set you back a minimum of $75-$100. What does that mean? Nothing. How much money you spend in a club doesn't mean anything in terms of the chances of you getting some ass. Guys who are buying tables are damn fools. Having a table just means you're guaranteed to be swarmed by liquor pimps who have no plans to put out, just to get as drunk as possible on someone else's dime and then go get fucked by someone else afterwards.

2. The talent is too damn low. Obviously we have plenty of spots where you can see attractive women, but hell even going to spots like LIV doesn't mean you're going to see a number of 8s and up -- Would it matter? The dime pieces at spots like LIV aren't there for you any way, so they're not even real options. The majority of the chicks in these clubs are at best 6s. That level of talent is too damn low to for the time and money. It doesn't make sense to be out a couple hundred bucks in a night just for the possibility of gaming at best 6s who look miserable, out of place, and are only in a particular place because it's somewhere to be seen and they can tell their other friends how they were there the night Steve Aoki was.

Things have just changed. I still enjoying going out, but my philosophy on partying has changed a lot compared to my college days of a few years ago. I have hit every Latin club here in Miami, that's my zone, but now I see chicks dancing salsa and bachata together even when guys are asking them to dance.

It's quite the joke.
