Is Steve Harvey the Dick Clark of Day Time TV? Has he cracked the nut, to make himself wildly successful in the world of entertainment?
The NY Times thinks so.
I am laying on the couch right now watching his highly rated day time talk show marveling at his success. This show is a fascinating look into the female mind.
Todays show's topics;
- Dunk Your Ex(literally a dunk tank outside of the studio, with an overweight women and her ex boyfriend in a dunk tank, who is upset because the ex told her to have chicken instead of pizza for dinner)
- A segment with his current wife promoting her new fashion blog, because you know, she shops a lot.
- Why Cant I Find Somebody? - A plump, fast approaching wall victim(with a PhD) shares her heartache for not finding a man. They bring in the ex's, hilarity ensues. Steve serves this up as a way for to "understand why men break up with you."
So I did a little research just now, and to further prove my point, guess what I found, feminist bloggers HATE Steve Harvey.![[Image: cb.gif]](https://rooshvforum.network/images/smilies/new/cb.gif)

This article goes in depth about his relationship issues.
Now, I am from the same neighborhood Steve is from. I grew up with guys just like this. Which was basically a working class, poor, violent neighborhood in a dying midwest city. Being a blue pill white knight is completely opposite to the very core of these guys. Especially the guys who came up in the 70's & 80's. Think Dolemite, not Richard Gere. Is what Steve does an act? Who know's, but its a far cry from where he is from.
Now this is not a thread to bash Steve Harvey. His charity to help poor kids is very commendable. If anything, he recognized a niche, and saw massive success with it. Is this really Game Recognized, for leveraging the hamster for what it is? Is he on to something since he has drawn the ire of feminists? We all can't stand the show, its topics and what it purports. You be the judge.
But goddamn it made him rich.
