Man...that takes a serious lack of cojones. 6 on 3 is bad odds, but you know what's worse odds? 6 on 0. These guys' strategy was to smash their faces and rib cages into the other guys' fists, lol. It's easy to start a fight and win when you outnumber your opponents. If that hood-savage that started it was alone, he'd have kept his mouth shut and walked.

The white guys didn't want to fight at all, and they knew the odds were against them. Stepping in to save a friend might have just made it far worse for all three of them and resulted in a fatality or two. It's easy to think that in their shoes you'd accept a few more punches to help out a friend, but in real life you'd be frozen in fear.

The lesson here is... carry a gun.

I've been in this situation, and I was not frozen in fear. My rule is to strike first. If someone gets up in my face and starts making threats, I hit first. If there's going to be a fight, I'm striking first, no point in giving my opponent an advantage.

I had a guy in Mexico come up to me as I was eating a torta. Guy goes, "Te voy a matar (I'm going to kill you)." I dropped my torta and jabbed him in the face. He steps back, bloodied, stunned. His buddies, about 4 of them (so 5 total), come at me and surround me. They're smaller than me (I'm 6 ft, 2" with boots), so none of them wants to close. They encircled me, then one would rush in, take a kick at me, retreat, then another would do the same, from another direction. Meanwhile, my buddy, seeing what's happening, and with his torta in his other hand, rushes up to one of them and lands his left fist (he's left handed). That guy and my friend exchange, while the other four keep encircling me, taking kicks at me, then retreating, with none of them wanting to close with me. I kept jabbing/kicking, and retreating, jabbing and retreating, until my buddy and I made it back to the night club door and stepped inside. Bouncers blocked the group outside.

So I left the first fellow bloodied, my buddy connected solidly with another fellow, and both my buddy and I were perfectly fine. We kept on having fun the rest of the night at the club. Sometimes when people go looking for trouble, they'll find it. They'll think twice next time they try to assault some Americans.

Also, note, this was about 10 years ago before the cartels started their chaos. I would not even think of going to a Mexican border-town, at all, at this point in time.

I've been in other fights as well, and I've never hit the ground. I had my lip split in one fight, but I still never hit the ground, and if I did, I'd do my best to get back up. I'd take a beatdown before walking away while a friend of mine is getting beat down. I couldn't show weakness like that, how would I face my friend the next day? No way, that's not how my friends and I roll. What these guys did was a violation of the bro code.

I should have written a bit more on that. My main point was that this isn't really a red/blue pill issue and the key point is to act appropriately to the situation. Once the real aggression starts I agree you gotta meet force with force but if I can avoid it escalating I will. You never know what any of the guys could be packing.

When the guy was on the ground any friend of honor should have had his back.

This. Exactly. They smelled the fear and lack of group cohesion. It was like a dog smelling a bitch in heat, and they attacked.

I dont think this has anything to do with race, it happens when two social classes collide too. In here if you go to the rural parts of the country and mention youre from the capital youre fucked.

Also in high schools parties nowadays when an outsider tries to get too close to a group someone always comes out and aggresively asks what do you want. Its human nature to be aggresive against outsiders.

Ive been in many situations like that, usually when im alone. The solution is not to show fear like someone in here said.
You walk past by a group who look like they might do something you meanmug the baddest looking guy they usually just nod back at you, someone yells something at you, you stop and ask him yo you got a problem?
If he says anything else challenge him to a 1 on 1.
They usually fold, if not their true nature will show once they start throwing wild haymakers and stepping backwards instead of coming towards you.

When it comes to violent situations the main priority is to get out, that includes getting your buddies out though. From secondary crime scene analysis the best reaction from the point the criminal tries to control you is violence.

You can't blame them because Austin is such a safe, white city. I mean this is all over the news. The minorities have been pushed to one side of town so I guess all hell breaks loose when they meet even though this fight was weak.

I meant i dont think this kind of stuff only happens when african american males see beta white chodes. It happens when a group of guys no matter what race go around town looking for trouble with weaker groups.

If you look weak someone is gonna pick on you, white/black/asian doesnt matter, this wouldnt had happened if those guys were just regular white guys, they were probably looking to the ground after they made accidental eye contact with the other groups of guys. You can tell by their body language that they stood no chance.
